It has been found that to obtain half the amount of oxygen during deoxidation of liquid iron by silicocalcium together with aluminium less time is required than during deoxidation by silicocalcium alone. This is explained by the fact that high alumina compounds float onto the metal surface faster than silicate particles.

ნაირხნოვან ნაძვნარ-სოჭნარ კორომებში კომპლექსურ-ამორჩევითი ჭრებით გამოწვეული გარემო ფაქტორების შეცვლის შედეგად ჭრების ჩატარებიდან პირველი ხუთი წლის განმავლობაში იზრდება გამოხშირულ ფართობზე დატოვებული სხვადასხვა თაობის (სართულის) სოჭის მერქნის წლიური რგოლების სიგანე -16-37%-ით, გვიანა მერქნის შემცველობა წლიურ რგოლებში-4-8%-ით, ტრაქეიდების საშუალო სიგრძე-8-21%-ით, სისქე-6-32%-ით, რითაც იზრდება ნაირსახოვანი ნაძვნარ-სოჭნარი კორომების წარმადობა და უმჯობესდება მერქნის ხარისხი.
During the first five years after such felling in uneven-aged and different-layer spruce and fir forest, as a result of changed photic condition and according to tree location in the stock, an increase was found in: the width of annual rings by 16-37%, the late wood content in the annual rings by 4-8%, the mean length of tracheids by 8-21%, the mean thickness of tracheid walls by 6-32%. All this leads to an increase of the quantity and improvement of the quality of Nordmann-fir wood.

In testing various nitrogen sources for submerged cultivation of the cellulolytic fungus Trichoderma sp. 18<sub>5</sub>, it was found that the most intensive cellulase production, i. e., of C<sub>1</sub> and C<sub>x</sub> enzymes, and cotton-disagregating capacity was observed during cultivation of the fungus on the mixture of (NH<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub> and Ca(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>.
