გამოკვლევის შედეგები უჩვენებს, რომ ყურძნის თესლის ზეთის ჰიდრირებით კატალიზატორ 5% Ni-გუმბრინისა და 5% Ni-ბანოჯას თანაობისას, 220° ტემპერატურაზე მიიღება საკვები ქონზეთი, ხოლო 5% Ni + 2% Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> - გუმბრინისა და 5% Ni + 2% Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> - ბანოჯას გამოყენებისას იგი მიიღება 200° ტემპერატურაზე.
The results of the investigation show that hydrogenation of grape-seed oil in the presence of 5% Ni-gumbrin and 5% Ni-banoja aluminium-silicates yields a hydrogenated food fat at 220°C, whereas by using 5% Ni + 2% Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> – gumbrin and 5% Ni + 2% Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> the above mentioned product is obtained at 200°C.

This reaction results in the formation of dicyclopentadienylmethylchlorosilane. By hydrolyzing the latter in an acid medium a cyclic trimer is formed, whereas by hydrolyzing the same dichlorosilane in a base medium isomeric dioles are formed; however, hydrolysis in high-temperature conditions results in a dimer.
