It is shown that the correlation of the rates of two consecutive irreversible electrochemical reactions and yields of the intermediate and final products is the function of three main factors: initial concentration of the depolarizer, difference of the electrochemical equivalents of the intermediate and final products and difference of the real potentials of these reactions.
