The paper describes the result of a study of the process of twinning tungstein carbide in WC-Co alloys worked by a blast in preheated condition. Metallographic and electrondiffraction analyses have shown that following treatment in tungstein carbide, (WC) plastic deformation takes place trough creeping and twinning.
