The feasibility is shown of identifying dibenzthiophene in binary mixtures with aromatic compounds, such as naphthalene, diphenyl, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, chrysene, pyrene, triphenylene and carbazole by their luminescence and luminescent excitation spectra at 77°K in paraffin mixtures.
