The Black sea PETrA embraces the entire territory of the Black Sea littoral countries (Georgia, Bulgaria, Romania, as well as Moldova), but only the Black Sea littoral regions and provinces of the Russian Federation: Krasnodar territory and Rostov region; Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk and the Crimean Republic in the Ukraine; the Sreis province in the Aegean Sea (Greece) and the Black Sea and Aegean littoral provinces.

Thus, in connection with the 8th corridor: an international conference on "Transcontinental Link: European Corridor 8-Traceca" was held in Burgas (Bulgaria) on 2-3 September 1997 on the initiative of Bulgaria and Georgia.
