Beaumont and Fletcher's plays in question are built through adaptation of the basic plot coordinates of the romantic intrigue of the principal pair of lovers in The Man in Panther-skin. At the same time, we do not seem to be dealing with a modulation of their story of love, come to the authors by hearsay or undirectly, they rather have had immediate knowledge of the main plots of Rustaveli's poem.
