ყველაზე მნიშვნელოვანი როლი საზღვარგარეთული ქართველოლოგიის განვითარებაში შეასრულა ჟურნალმა „ბედი ქართლისამ“, რომელიც გამოდიოდა პარიზში 1948-1964 წლებში ქართულ ენაზე; 1957-1984 წლებში კი - ფრანგულ ენაზე პარალელური სახელწოდებით „რევიუ დე კარტველოლოჟი“.
The journal Bedi Kartlisa, which came out in Paris in 1948-1964 in Georgian, and in 1957-1984 in French under the parallel name Revue de Kartvélologie, played an outstanding role in the development of foreign Kartvelology.
