The magnetic susceptibilities (Faraday’s method, 277.5 – 293.1°K) of polycrystalline samples of AlX<sub>3</sub> (X=Cl, Br) adducts with metalchelates of divalent metals (copper, nickel and cobalt) have been determined and their EPR-spectra measured.

Two new species of oribatids belonging to the genus Liacarus Michael, 1898 were found in Georgia, Kirghizia and the Soviet Far East: Liacarus marchabelii sp. n. and Liacarus sphaericus sp. n. These species resemble L. lectronus Higg. et Woolley, 1969 and L. bidentatus Ewing, 1918, but differ in some morphological characteristics.
