This Protocol shall enter into force on the latter date on which either Contracting Party notifies the other through diplomatic channels that its constitutional requirements for the entry into force of this Protocol have been complied with.

This Protocol may be amended or revised by mutual consent between the Contracting Parties, and such amendment or revision shall come into force on the date as may specified by the Contracting Parties in accordance with domestic laws and regulations applicable in each of them.

This Protocol shall remain in force for a period of five years and shall automatically be renewed for similar period or periods, unless either Contracting Party has notified the other in writing about its intention to terminate this Agreement at least six months to its termination.

In case of the failure to contact the authorities of a municipality or the failure to receive the said lists in proper time, the obtainment and transfer of the rectified lists of villages and territorial bodies belonging to the municipality concerned will be ensured by the heads of regional offices of the Department of Statistics.
