This Law, based on a differentiated approach, establishes the legal framework for ensuring radiation protection, nuclear safety and security, as well as the rights and obligations of persons engaged in activities related to ionising radiation sources, as well as those issues related to the safety of radioactive waste management that are not regulated by the Law of Georgia on Radioactive Waste.
