The newly endorsed projects largely deal with the sea transport and ports of the TRACECA system, including the development of the Poti port, railways, roads and road transport, the feasibility study of linking the TRACECA and the Chinese roads, problems of management of the process of implementation of the various projects from the TRACECA offices in Brussels, Tbilisi and Tashkent, further cooperation with international financial institutions, and so on.

With a view to simplifying the procedures of freight turnover in the TRACECA space, harmonizing them with the demands of international conventions, and enhancing the competitiveness of the transport corridor, I demanded in the Decree that the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Transport help speed up the procedures of Georgia's accession to international transport conventions and agreements.
