The beneficiaries of the Project are Georgian citizens in and outside the Georgian territory, foreign citizens, refugees and stateless persons residing in Georgia.

პროექტის მიზანია იმ ბენეფიციარების, რომლებიც არიან მოქალაქეობის არმქონე პირები საქართველოში, ქვეყანაში მობინადრე და აგრეთვე საზღვარგარეთ მცხოვრები საქართველოს მოქალაქეები, საქართველოში მცხოვრები უცხოელებისა და ლტოლვილების ჩათვლით, ინფორმირება მოქალაქეობასთან დაკავშირებით საქართველოს სამართლებრივი სისტემის თავისებურებების, და აგრეთვე საერთაშორისო სტანდარტების შესახებ, იმისთვის რათა შემცირდეს და თავიდან იქნეს აცილებული საქართველოში მოქალაქეობის არმქონე პირად გადაქცევის მიზეზები.
This project aims at informing the beneficiaries, which are the stateless persons in Georgia, Georgian citizens residing in the country as well as those living abroad including foreigners and refugees living in Georgia about the specificities of the Georgian legal framework on citizenship as well as international standards in order to reduce and prevent the causes of statelessness in Georgia.

Ministry of Justice Civil Registry Agency, in the beginning of 2008, registered 1340 Stateless persons in Georgia.

Additionally there are 1045 refugees living in Georgia with 51% is female, who may obtain Convention Travel Documents.

Foreigners in Georgia willing to obtain Georgian citizenship as well as Georgian nationals traveling abroad also those living in foreign countries willing to renounce Georgian citizenship will match the criteria of beneficiaries of this project, however the exact number of these persons is impossible to indicate.

2008 წლის ბოლომდე საგარეო საქმეთა სამინისტრო მოამზადებს, გამოაქვეყნებს და გაავრცელებს დეტალურ ბუკლეტს საქართველოში მოქალაქეობასთან დაკავშირებული საკითხების შესახებ და აგრეთვე მოქალაქეობის არქონის შემცირებასა და თავიდან აცილებასთან დაკავშირებული საერთაშორისოდ მიღებული სტანდარტების შესახებ.
Until the end of 2008, Ministry of Foreign Affairs will draft, publish and disseminate specified booklet on citizenship matters in Georgia as well as on the internationally accepted standards on prevention and reduction of statelessness.

საგარეო საქმეთა სამინისტროს საკონსულო დეპარტამენტი, წლების განმავლობაში საკონსულო დეპარტამენტში დაგროვილი გამოცდილების, პრაქტიკის და ოფიციალური დოკუმენტაციისა და მიმოწერის საფუძველზე განსაზღვრავს ჟურნალის შინაარსს, რომელიც მიაწვდის უცხოელებს ინფორმაციას საქართველოს ვიზების მიღებასთან, საქართველოში შემოსვლის და დარჩენისთვის საჭირო ნებართვების მოპოვებასთან დაკავშირებული პროცედურების შესახებ და შესაბამისი დოკუმენტაციის ლეგალიზაციისა და აპოსტილით დამოწმების შესახებ, და მიაწვდის საქართველოს მოქალაქეებს ინფორმაციას სხვადასხვა ქვეყნების ვიზების მისაღებად აუცილებელი წესების შესახებ, უცხოეთის ქვეყნებში შესვლისა და დარჩენის წესების შესახებ და უცხოეთის ქვეყნების შესაბამის ორგანოთათვის წარსადგენი დოკუმენტების ლეგალიზაციისა და აპოსტილით დამოწმების შესახებ.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Consular Department will draft the content on the journal based on the experience, practice and official documentation and correspondence accumulated in the Consular Department over the years, which will provide foreigners with the information concerning the procedures regarding the obtainment of Georgian visas, permits required for the entry and stay in Georgia, and concerning the legalization and certification of relevant documentation by means of apostille and provide Georgian citizens with the information concerning the necessary rules for the reception of visas of various countries, rules of entry and stay in foreign countries, and about the legalization and certification by means of apostille of the documents to be submitted to the relevant authorities of foreign countries.
