ნარჩენების მართვისა და უსაფრთხო მოპყრობის ორგანიზების მიზნით, ყოველ მსხვილ და საშუალო სიმძლავრის სამკურნალო - პროფილაქტიკურ დაწესებულებაში საჭიროა დაწესებულების ხელმძღვანელის ბრძანებით დაინიშნოს შესაბამისი განათლების მქონე (ჰიგიენისტი, ეპიდემიოლოგი) პასუხისმგებელი პირი, ან დაიდოს ხელშეკრულება სახელმწიფო სანიტარიული ზედამხედველობის სამსახურთან, აღნიშნული სამუშაოების შესრულების თაობაზე.
In order to arrange for the management and safe handling of waste, in all major and medium-capacity medical and prophylactic institutions there shall, pursuant to the order of the Heads of relevant institutions, be appointed a person responsible (hygienist, epidemiologist) with proper education, or there shall be concluded a contract with the State Sanitary Supervision Service for the conduct of the said operations.

პროფილისა და სიმძლავრის (საწოლთა ფონდის) მიუხედავად, ყოველი სამკურნალო-პროფილაქტიკური დაწესებულების საქმიანობის შედეგად წარმოიქმნება სხვადასხვა ფრაქციული შედგენილობისა და საშიშროების კლასის ნარჩენები.
Irrespective of its profile and capacity (bedspace), each medical and prophylactic institution, in process of its activities, generates wastes of different fractional compositions and danger classes.

IV. General Rules for the Organization of the System of Collection, Temporary Storage and Transportation of Waste of a Medical and Prophylactic Institution

1. სამკურნალო-პროფილაქტიკური დაწესებულების ტერიტორიაზე ნარჩენების ორგანიზებული შეგროვების, დროებითი შენახვისა და ტრანსპორტირების სისტემა უნდა მოიცავდეს შემდეგ რგოლებს:

2. Succession and manner of operations to be conducted at each level will be determined in relevant sections of the present Sanitary Rules.

4. დაუშვებელია სხვადასხვა კლასის ნარჩენების შერევა შეგროვების, დროებითი შენახვის ან ტრანსპორტირების რომელიმე სტადიაზე.
4. Mixing wastes of different classes at any stage of collection, temporary storage or transportation shall be prohibited.

5. სამკურნალო-პროფილაქტიკური დაწესებულების ხელმძღვანელის მიერ, მოცემული დაწესებულების ნარჩენების შეგროვებაზე პასუხისმგებელ სპეციალისტთან ერთად, საჭიროა განისაზღვროს პასუხისმგებელი პირი, ვინც პირველადი შეგროვების ადგილზე აკონტროლებს ნარჩენების მიმოქცევას და ახდენს ერთჯერადი მოცულობების (პაკეტები, ბაკები) ჰერმეტიზებას.
5. The Head of a medical and prophylactic institution, together with the relevant specialist responsible for collection of waste of the institution concerned, shall designate a person responsible, who will control the circulation of waste and will hermetically seal disposable receptacles (packets, vats) at the locations of initial collection of waste.

6. ნარჩენების შეგროვების, დროებითი შენახვისა და ტრანსპორტირების სამუშაოებზე არ დაიშვებიან პირები, რომელთაც არ გაუვლიათ წინასწარი მომზადება.
6. Persons who have received no previous training shall not be admitted to the operations connected with the collection, temporary storage and transportation of waste.

7. სამკურნალო-პროფილაქტიკური დაწესებულების პერსონალის მომზადება ნარჩენებისადმი მოპყრობის საკითხებში, ეკისრება მოცემული დაწესებულების ხელმძღვანელის მიერ დანიშნულ, ნარჩენების შეგროვებაზე პასუხისმგებელ პირს.
7. Training of the personnel of a medical and prophylactic institution in the matters of waste handling shall be entrusted to the person f responsible for the collection of waste, designated by the Head of the institution concerned.
