The basic system for collection and removal of medical waste shall be the system of “replacement” of collector containers, when containers with waste are removed with the vehicles having enclosed cargo bodies, specifically designed for the purpose, and the containers so removed are replaced with emptied and disinfected ones.

8. Transportation of waste of Class A, B, and C outside the territory of a medical and prophylactic institution may take place only with the vehicles having enclosed cargo bodies, specifically designed for the purpose, which may not be used for any other purposes.

15. გასაუვნებელი დანადგარის არ არსებობის შემთხვევაში, ეპიდემიოლოგიურად უსაფრთხო პათოლოგანატომიური და საოპერაციოს ორგანული ნარჩენები (ორგანოები, ქსოვილები და მისთ.) უნდა დაიმარხოს სასაფლაოზე სპეციალურად გამოყოფილ სამარხებში.
15. In the event of unavailability of a neutralizing installation, epidemiologically safe waste materials from pathologoanatomical and operating units (organs, tissues, etc.) must be buried at specifically designated burial sites at cemeteries.

16. ”ბ“ კლასის სხვა ნარჩენები (მასალები და ინსტრუმენტები, პაციენტთა გამონაყოფები, მიკრობიოლოგიურ ლაბორატორიებსა და ვივარიუმებში წარმოქმნილი ნარჩენები), ჩატარებული დეზინფექციის შემდგომ წინამდებარე დოკუმენტის VII მუხლის დებულებების შესაბამისად, უნდა გადაიტანონ მყარი საყოფაცხოვრებო ნარჩენების პოლიგონებზე.
16. Other waste of Class B (materials and tools, excreta of patients, waste generated in microbiological laboratories and vivaria), after its disinfection must, in accordance with the provisions of Article V of the present Document, be transported to landfill sites for solid household waste.

Each medical and prophylactic institution shall develop a detailed plan for collection and removal of waste and arrange for the measures for its implementation.

(a) Quantitative and qualitative analysis of waste with the calculation of amounts of waste accumulated by the classes thereof.

(b) For each class of waste, there must be identified the amount of necessary packaging materials to be used at the places of initial collection of waste.

გ) ერთჯერადი და მრავალჯერადი გამოყენების ტარა, კორპუსებს შორის მდგარი კონტეინერები და ნარჩენების კორპუსებს შიგნით შეგროვებისა და შენახვისათვის განკუთვნილი სათავსები, სრულად უნდა შეესაბამებოდეს წინამდებარე სანიტარიული წესების პუნქტებში მოცემულ მოთხოვნებს.
(c) Disposable and reusable receptacles, containers placed between the buildings and the compartments inside the institution buildings designated for indoor collection and storage of waste must fully comply with the requirements set out in the paragraphs of present Sanitary Rules.

There must be set up a system of waste collection and removal in compliance with the requirements in respect to separate collection and removal of wastes of different classes.
