“Preferential treatment” means any concession or privilege granted under this Agreement by a Contracting Party.

ამ შეთანხმების მიზანია საქართველოსა და თურქეთს შორის სავაჭრო ურთიერთობათა გაძლიერება კერძოდ ქვემოჩამოთვლილი ზომების მეშვეობით: ა. მე-3 მუხლში მოხსენიებული ზოგადი პრინციპები; ბ. ტარიფების შემცირება და არასატარიფო ბარიერებისა და პარა-ტარიფების ლიკვიდაცია; გ. ვაჭრობის ხელშეწყობა და გაფართოება, რასაც თავისი წვლილი შეაქვს შემთანხმებელ მხარეთა შორის ეკონომიკურ ურთიერთობათა ჰარმონიულ განვითარებაში; დ. ხელსაყრელი პირობების შექმნა შემთანხმებელ მხარეთა შორის პატიოსანი კონკურენციისათვის; ე. უფრო პროგნოზირებადი და უსაფრთხო გარემოს შექმნა შემთანხმებელ მხარეთა შორის ვაჭრობის მდგრადი ზრდისათვის; ვ. შემთანხმებელ მხარეთა შორის კომერციული გაცვლების დივერსიფიკაციის გაადვილება.
The objective of this Agreement is to strengthen trade relations between Turkey and Georgia in particular through: a. the general principles referred to in Article 3; b. the reduction of tariffs and elimination of non-tariff barriers and para-tariffs; c. the promotion and expansion of trade, contributing towards the harmonious development of economic relations between the Contracting Parties; d. the creation of enabling conditions of fair competition between the Contracting Parties; e.the creation of more predictable and secure environment for sustainable growth of trade between the Contracting Parties; f. the facilitation in the diversification of commercial exchanges between the Contracting Parties.

This Agreement shall be governed in accordance with the principle of overall reciprocity of advantages to benefit equitably to the Contracting Parties, taking into account their respective levels of economic development, external trade, tariff policies and import procedures.

The Contracting Parties shall establish and develop a mechanism to promote and maintain commercial and economic cooperation.

The provisions of this Agreement shall apply to trade in goods, originating in the territories of the Contracting Parties and listed in the Annexes of the Agreement.

The tariff concessions negotiated and exchanged between the Contracting Parties shall be annexed as an integral part of this Agreement.

ამ შეთანხმების ძალაში შესვლის შემდეგ მხარეები, თუ მასში სხვაგვარად არ იქნა გათვალისწინებული, არ გაზრდიან გამოყენებულ სატარიფო განაკვეთებს ამ შეთანხმებით მოცული პროდუქტების იმპორტზე, თუ ამას არ დაამტკიცებს ერთობლივი კომისია, რომელიც ამ შეთანხმების 21-ე მუხლის თანახმად უნდა დაარსდეს.
Upon entry into force of the Agreement, unless otherwise provided therein, the Contracting Parties shall not increase the applied tariff rates on the imports of the products covered under this Agreement without approval of the Joint Committee which shall be established in accordance with the Article 21 of this Agreement.

ამ შეთანხმების ძალაში შესვლის შემდეგ მხარეები, თუ მასში სხვაგვარად არ იქნა გათვალისწინებული: აცნობებენ ერთმანეთს მათ მიერ გამოყენებული სატარიფო განაკვეთების შესახებ; შეამცირებენ ან გააუქმებენ ამ შეთანხმების დანართებში ჩამოთვლილი საქონლის სატარიფო განაკვეთებს.
Upon entry into force of the Agreement, unless otherwise provided therein, the Contracting Parties: shall notify one another of their respective applied tariff rates; shall reduce or eliminate the applied tariff rates on goods listed in the Annexes of this Agreement.

ერთობლივი კომიტეტი განიხილავს ამ შეთანხმების რეალიზაციას და მას შესაბამისად შეუძლია გადაწყვეტილება მიიღოს სატარიფო შეღავათებთან დაკავშირებული შემდგომი შემცირებების და/ან შესწორებების თაობაზე.
The Joint Committee shall review the implementation of the Agreement and accordingly may decide further reductions and/or amendments on the tariff concessions.

ნებისმიერი შემთანხმებელი მხარის საქონელს, იმპორტირებულს მეორე შემთანხმებელ მხარეში, მიენიჭება არანაკლებ ხელსაყრელი რეჟიმი, ვიდრე ეროვნული წარმოების მსგავს პროდუქტებს იმაში, რაც შეეხება კანონებს, სამართლებრივ ნორმებსა და მოთხოვნებს, რომლებიც ზეგავლენას ახდენს მათს გაყიდვაზე, გასაყიდად შეთავაზებაზე, შესყიდვაზე, ტრანსპორტირებაზე, დისტრიბუციაზე ან გამოყენებაზე.
The goods of any Contracting Party, imported to the other Contracting Party shall be accorded treatment no less favorable than like products of national origin, in respect of laws, regulations and requirements affecting their sale, offer for sale, purchase, transportation, distribution or use.

გარდა შემთხვევებისა, როდესაც ეს სხვაგვარად არის გათვალისწინებული ამ შეთანხმებაში, მხარეები არ შეზღუდავენ ან გააუქმებენ ამ შეთანხმების მიხედვით მინიჭებულ შეღავათებს რაიმე სატარიფო, პარა-სატარიფო ან არასატარიფო ბარიერების, ან რაიმე სხვა შემზღუდველი ზომების გამოყენებით.
Except otherwise provided in the Agreement, the Contracting Parties shall not impair or nullify the concessions granted under this Agreement through the application of any tariff, para-tariff or non-tariff barriers or any other restrictive measures.

Goods contained in the schedules of concessions shall be eligible for preferential treatment with the condition that they satisfy the rules of origin in accordance with the national legislations in force in Georgia and Turkey.

დემპინგის ან საექსპორტო სუბსიდიებისთვის წინააღმდეგობის გასაწევად, მსოფლიო სავაჭრო ორგანიზაციის წესების თანახმად, შემთანხმებელ მხარეებს უფლება აქვთ გაატარონ ანტიდემპინგური და საპირისპირო ზომები.
In order to counter dumping or export subsidies, in accordance with the WTO rules, the Contracting Parties shall have the right to initiate anti dumping and countervailing measures.
