ა) ბირთვული ან რადიოლოგიური საგანგებო სიტუაციის შემთხვევაში იღებს შეტყობინებას შესაბამისი პასუხისმგებელი უწყებიდან, როგორც ჯანმრთელობის საერთაშორისო წესების (შემდგომში − ჯსწ) ეროვნული კოორდინატორი და 24 (ოცდაოთხი) საათის განმავლობაში ატყობინებს ჯანმრთელობის მსოფლიო ორგანიზაციის ჯსწ-ის საკონტაქტო პუნქტს, ჯსწ-ის მე-2 დანართის შესაბამისი გადაწყვეტილების ინსტრუმენტის მიხედვით.
a) in the event of a nuclear or radiological emergency, receive notification from the relevant responsible authority as the National Coordinator for International Health Regulations (hereinafter - the IHR), and notify the IHR Contact Point of the World Health Organization within 24 (twenty-four) hours in accordance with a decision instrument relevant to Annex 2 of the IHR.

The Ministry of Finance of Georgia shall organise the use of simplified customs formalities, as well as facilitate the financing of civil security measures in order to ensure prompt response to the consequences of a nuclear or radiological emergency and to reduce the time required for customs procedures.
