(1) A request for readmission or reconduction on the basis of article 2 or 3 shall be submitted in writing to the competent authority of the requested Party.

If the person to be readmitted or reconducted is in the international zone of an airport of one of the Parties, the competent airport authorities may agree on a simplified procedure.
