პროექტის მიზანია საბჭოთა/რუსეთის შეიარაღებული ძალების გასვლის შემდეგ 11 (თერთმეტ) ქართულ სამხედრო ბაზაზე დატოვებული რადიოაქტიური ნარჩენების გაუვნებლება და იმის საბოლოოდ დადასტურება, რომ მიწა გაწმენდილია ნებისმიერი დაბინძურებისგან და უსაფრთხოდ შეიძლება იქნეს გამოყენებული სამხედრო მოსამსახურეებისა და ადგილობრივი მოსახლეობის მიერ.
