ნოტების გაცვლის მე-3 პუნქტის (1) ქვეპუნქტთან მიმართებაში, იაპონიის დელეგაციის წარმომადგენელმა განაცხადა, რომ იაპონიის მთავრობა დარწმუნებულია, რომ საქართველოს მთავრობა მიიღებს აუცილებელ ზომებს, რათა არ დაუშვას რაიმე ისეთი წინადადება, საჩუქარი ან გადახდა, ანაზღაურება ან სარგებელი, რომელიც ინტერპრეტირებული იქნება როგორც საქართველოში არსებული კორუფციული პრაქტიკა, შეთავაზებული იქნება რა როგორც ნოტების გაცვლის მე-4 პუნქტში მოხსენიებული კონტრაქტების დადებისკენ წაქეზება ანდა როგორც ჯილდო ამგვარი კონტრაქტების დადების სანაცვლოდ.

With regard to subparagraph (1) of paragraph 3. of the Exchange of Notes, the representative of the Japanese Delegation stated that the Government of Japan understands that the Government of Georgia will take necessary measures to prevent any offer, gift or payment, consideration or benefit which would be construed as a corrupt practice in Georgia from being made as an inducement to or reward for the award of the contracts referred to in paragraph 4. of the Exchange of Notes.

საქართველოს დელეგაციის წარმომადგენელმა განაცხადა, რომ მის დელეგაციას საწინააღმდეგო არაფერი აქვს იაპონიის დელეგაციის წარმომადგენლის ზემოთ მოხსენიებული განცხადებისა.

The representative of the Georgian Delegation stated that his Delegation has no objection to the statement by the representative of the Japanese Delegation referred to above.
