Contracting Parties shall not apply customs tariffs and other charges having similar effect to the goods originating in the territory of one of the Contracting Parties and intended for the territory of another Contracting Party, which are imported by a resident of a Contracting Party.

მხარეები ურთიერთვაჭრობაში თავს შეიკავებენ დისკრიმინაციული ზომების გატარებისაგან, ამ შეთანხმების ფარგლებში საქონლის ექსპორტისა და/ან იმპორტის მიმართ რაოდენობრივი შეზღუდვების ან ეკვივალენტური ღონისძიებებისაგან.
In mutual trade, the Contracting Parties shall refrain from taking any discriminatory measures and from the application of quantitative restrictions and measures having equivalent effect on exports and/or imports under this Agreement.

მხარეებს შეუძლიათ დააწესონ რაოდენობრივი ან სპეციალური შეზღუდვები, ცალმხრივად მაგრამ გონივრულ ფარგლებში და მკაცრად განსაზღვრული წესით.მხოლოდ შემდეგ შემთხვევებში: ა) შიდა ბაზარზე ამ საქონლის მწვავე დეფიციტის დროს, ან ბ) საგადასახადო ბალანსის მდგომარეობის სტაბილიზაციამდე, ან გ) თუ რომელიმე საქონელი იმპორტირებულია ერთ-ერთი მონაწილე მხარის ტერიტორიაზე ისეთი გაზრდილი ოდენობით, ან ისეთ პირობებში, რომლებიც ზიანს აყენებენ, ან ემუქრებიან ზიანის მიყენებით მსგავსი ან უშუალოდ კონკურებადი საქონლის ადგილობრივ მწარმოებლებს, ან დ) რეექსპორტული ოპერაციების მარეგულირებელი მუხლით გათვალისწინებული ზომების განხორციელების მიზნით.
The Parties may unilaterally, but within reasonable limits and following strictly defined procedure, adopt quantitative or special restrictions only in following cases: a) In the event of severe shortage of this product on the domestic market; or b) Until the stabilization of the situation in respect of balance of payments; or c) If any product is being imported into the territory of either of the participating Parties in such increased quantities, as to damage or threaten to damage the interests of local producers of similar or immediately competing products; or d) In order to take measures provided for by the Article governing re-export operations.

მხარე, რომელიც ამ მუხლის შესაბამისად იყენებს რაოდენობრივ ან სპეციალურ შეზღუდვებს, ზომების შEმოღებამდე წინასწარ 30 დღით ადრე წარუდგენს მეორე მხარეს სრულ მეცნიერულად დასაბუთებულ ინფორმაციას მითითებული შეზღუდვების შემოღების მიზეზების, ფორმებისა და გამოყენების სავარაუდო ვადის შესახებ.
The Party, applying quantitative or special restrictions under this Article shall, 30 days prior to the introduction of such measures, supply the other Party with complete scientifically substantiated information concerning the reasons for the introduction, and forms and supposed period of application of the said restrictions.

Each Contracting Party shall accord to the goods imported to its territory from the customs territory of another Contracting Party treatment no less favourable than that applied to the domestic goods or to the goods of any third country, in respect of technical and quality requirements.

For the purpose of eliminating technical barriers and other similar restrictions in mutual trade, the Contracting Parties shall ensure the harmonization of technical and other special requirements, and the conformity of their respective policies in this field with the standards of international law.

The Contracting Parties shall cooperate and exchange information in the field of standardization, metrology and certification, in order to avoid technical barriers and other special requirements (restrictions) in trade between them.

From Georgian side, the authority competent for the exchange of such information shall be the acting Agency of Standards, Technical Regulations and Metrology, a legal entity under public law at the Georgian Ministry of Economic Development, and from the side of the Cooperation Council of Arab Gulf States.

The Contracting Parties shall carry out the registration, customs examination and control, and processing of the goods and means of transportation, falling within the free trade regime, in conformity with their respective national legislations in force and the standards of international law.

ყოველი მხარე უზრუნველყოფს თავის სახელმწიფო ტერიტორიაზე იმ საქონლის დაუბრკოლებელ ტრანზიტს, რომელიც წარმოშობილია მეორე მხარის და/ან მესამე ქვეყნის საბაჟო ტერიტორიიდან და განკუთვნილია მეორე მხარის და/ან ნებისმიერი მესამე ქვეყნისათვის და მიაწოდებს ექსპორტიორებს, იმპორტიორებს ან გადამზიდველებს ტრანზიტის უზრუნველყოფისათვის არსებულ ყველა საჭირო საშუალებებსა და მომსახურებას, რომლის შეთავაზების პირობები არ იქნება უარესი, ვიდრე პირობები, რომლებსაც სთავაზობენ იგივე სახის მომსახურებისა და საშუალებებისათვის, საკუთარ ან ნებისმიერი მესამე ქვეყნის ექსპორტიორებს, იმპორტიორებს ან გადამზიდველებს.
Each Party shall ensure unimpeded transit through its national territory of the goods, originating in the customs territory of another Party and/or a third country, and intended for another Party, or a third country, and shall provide exporters, importers or carriers in transit with all available facilities and services, which are necessary to carry out the transit, under conditions which are no less favourable, than those offered to their own national exporters, importers or carriers, or those of any third country, in respect to the services and facilities of the same kind.

ხელშემკვრელი მხარეები შეთანხმდნენ გამოიყენონ საკუთარი ვეტერინარული, ფიტოსანიტარიული და სანიტარული ზომები, ასევე გაცვალონ ინფორმაცია ცხოველთა ინფექციურ დაავადებებზე, საკარანტინო დაავადებებსა და მცენარეთათვის საზიანო პარაზიტების გავრცელების თაობაზე, ვაჭრობის მსოფლიო ორგანიზაციის სანიტარული და ფიტოსანიტარიული ზომების შესახებ შეთანხმების დებულებათა გათვალისწინებით.
The Contracting Parties agree to use their veterinary, phytosanitary, and sanitary measures, as well as to exchange information concerning infectious diseases, quarantine diseases and the spread of plant parasites, taking into account the provisions of the WTO Agreement on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures.
